T42 Pedal assist sensor replacement

How to replace the sensor for the G-force T42? To accomplish this, follow the below steps.

Step 1: First, turn off the bike. Unplug the sensor connector, which is near the crankset.

Note: Hold and pull the connector halves apart directly, do not twist or turn them.

Step 2: Unscrew the screw on the crankset with the impact wrench.

Step 3: Slightly tilt the bike towards the left, press the chain with your thumb, crank the pedal to remove the chain from the sprocket.

Step 4: Knock the crank arm with a hammer to remove the crankset.

Step 5: Swap out the pedal assist sensor.

Step 6: Put the crankset back on and tighten the screw.

Step 7: Firmly plug in the sensor connector.
